ABOUT

UCF was started in 1999 by Joel and Lauren Brooks. After almost 10 years of faithful service to the students of Birmingham, the Brooks left to plant a church. In the summer of 2008, Andy and Miranda Byers came to lead UCF through its new chapter.

We are a simple ministry, desiring to remain faithful to our tenets of word, worship, and prayer as we grow through discipleship, community, and mission. In keeping with our focus on the essentials, our worship service on Wednesday nights is basic without frills or flash. As the college ministry of Mountain Brook Community Church, we meet on Sunday mornings during the community group hour to walk through a book of the Bible, studying and questioning together.
